Mobapad SA1 nintendo switch charging grip for Nintendo Switch Compatible with Joy-Con, Mobapad M6 HD

Everything about the charging grip is great EXCEPT the LED lights on it. The lights on mine are rather dim and odd looking. Like my joycon batteries are dead and not lighting them up properly. It's a small gripe and overall a great product otherwise.

The first SA1 I received had a loose rail couldn't hold it's angle properly. After reporting to customer service, they immediately offered and shipped a replacement unit. The replacement is now without flaws.

Works perfectly w/ my M6-HD and good alternative for PC/Android controller if you have the adapter.

By far the nicest joycon controller adapter I've used. Love that the angle is adjustable and that it allows for charging while playing.

I've had the mobapad M6 HD for about a month now, and for the first half of owning/using it, I mostly played in handheld mode. Noticed my Switch would need charging much more quickly than normal, but I figured it was because I had the "rumble" vibration feature turned on. Then, sadly, when I started using the M6 HD with the SA1 charging grip while playing in docked mode more often, I realized that the mobapad controllers batteries kept draining way too quickly, malfunctioning before dying altogether. Yet, for whatever reason, the battery percentage on-screen was incorrect, always showing them as fully charged until actually plugging them in to recharge.
   Around the 25th day of ownership is when I experienced the M6 HD draining, malfunctioning and constantly dropping connection (via Bluetooth or wired) despite supposedly being "paired" to my Switch. I thought if I turned off vibration completely, maybe the battery life would improve. The rumble sounded awful anyway; the left is muted, but the right has this high pitched screeching noise whenever rumble activates. Unfortunately, this hasn't made the battery last any longer. In fact, I'm afraid it's getting worse!
   I asked customer service how long the battery is supposed to last in between charges, and they told me it's approximately 15 (fifteen) hours on a full charge. For me, however, it isn't making it past 3 (three) hours! I don't know what to do. I like the shape of the M6 HD, and although the buttons are loud, overall it's comfortable to use when it works. Keywords: "when it works". This is the first third-party controller I've ever bought, and I was really hoping it would work out. I've even tried updating them to the most recent version through their app -- 1.24 at the time of this review -- but to no avail.
   Now, I can barely use them without having them fail in some way or another. I'm disappointed and, honestly, heartbroken. If they weren't defective, I would've been inclined to say they were better than official Nintendo Joy-con, but as it stands now, the mobapad M6 HD aren't even on the same level of quality. Not even close... I don't know what to do...
